About Me
There's a lot of noise around new technology.
I help organizations navigate the hype and manage risks to unlock genuine strategic value through education and effective governance.
Street Smarts
Serial entrepreneur. I’ve cofounded multiple tech companies, including a legal AI company that was acquired in 2018. I know when to hold ‘em and when to fold ‘em and am well-situated to help your organization find your winning hand.
Hands-on LLM development. I oversaw the training of the world’s first “Fairly Trained” large language model (which we subsequently open sourced through our nonprofit).
Making it click. I love teaching people about subjects that are outside of their usual domain. From teaching accounting to non-business school students during graduate school to more recently educating authors and attorneys on the basics of artificial intelligence, I am experienced with distilling highly technical information and making it relevant to my audience so that it “clicks” for them.
Passion. If we’ve ever talked about AI ethics, you’ve witnessed how strongly I feel about making AI a tool for good. My hope is that my passion helps others recognize the importance of making sure your strategic vision aligns with your values.

Licensed CPA. I have an in-depth understanding of financial oversight and reporting and I’m not afraid to admit that I’m kind of a nerd.
Certified AI Auditor. I was part of the first cohort of auditors to be certified in 2022 - before ChatGPT even came out!
CIPP/E/US. I hold the Certified Information Privacy Professional designations from the IAPP for both the US and Europe.
Expertise in risk management strategies for emerging technologies. I have spent the past decade working at the intersection of technology and governance, often focusing on frontier technology.
